Workshop is a new space for creative marketing.

Offering strategy, big ideas, and execution of all creative elements of a truly integrated marketing and social campaign.

Workshop will change and grow with both our audience and our clients. We will build on what works and work to uncover what is needed in an ever-changing industry.

Workshop is Jeffrey van de Zandt and Ashley Mckenzie.

We are two creative marketers who have vast experience in all facets of the theatre and theatrical marketing.

We set out not to replace; but to add to an industry we have great respect for. Our experience in our field is only exceeded by our passion for it.

We are dedicated, we laugh a lot and we build real relationships with our clients based on mutual trust and respect.

Let’s think big and work hard.

Let’s workshop.

Ash Mckenzie

After over 10 years in professional theatre on stage, Ash made the transition to go behind the scenes when he joined the AKA agency full time in 2013.

He has worked across numerous campaigns, such as Strictly Ballroom the Musical, Fiddler on the Roof, Marvel’s Avengers STATION, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical, MAMMA MIA!, Matilda the Musical and many more.

Working as an Account Manager and Director on landmark productions has given him a wealth of experience across media, sales, creative strategy and how to help build a truly integrated marketing campaign.

Driven by understanding audiences and delivering bold creative ideas to engage them, Ash above all believes in teams. His passion for what he does is only surpassed by the respect he has for the products he works on and the people he works with.
